Your responsibilities: Lead engineering teams responsible for the engineering domains: Primary, Secondary, Steel and Civil Engineering of HV/MV Substations, ensuring delivery of a portfolio of projects on time, in full scope; provide direction to the teams with a focus on safety, on time delivery, quality and budget/margin improvement. Build and maintain customer relationships, seek feedback and provide innovative solutions to meet customer requirements; support engineering during the bid phase and presentation of proposals to customers. Oversee contractual work and the role of engineering in both tendering and project execution; conduct regular design, progress, and budget/cost reviews, identifying and managing contractual risks and opportunities. Ensure Project Teams are adequately resourced, developed, and equipped to meet business needs. Contribute to plans creation for tenders and projects to identify and manage technical risks, maximizing opportunities. Collaborate with the Procurement & Logistics team to ensure correct suppliers, services, and equipment are available to support the Engineering function. Facilitate best practice sharing within the engineering team and develop competencies and skills across the team. Implement, develop and improve valid engineering processes based on the HUB EU and global PG Engineering instructions. Support financial plans creation and budget estimation for running tenders, projects, and own cost center; regularly review actual cost development and identify mitigation measures for budget gaps. Your background: University degree in Engineering (electrical engineering highly preferred). 5 to 10 years' experience as Lead project engineer; previous Engineering Manager experience is a plus. Knowledge of substation technology for AIS, GIS and Hybrid Technology Switchgear. Multifunctional experience with handling plant/system projects beyond pure engineering tasks. Attitude in leading & motivating a team with a focus on policy, capability, effectiveness, and people development. Broad knowledge of theories, tools, and practices in engineering, project & change management. Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with a collaborative, solutions-oriented approach and strong communication skills.
