In detail, this role involves coordinating, monitoring, and planning the project, as well as forecasting its costs and the timing and deadlines that characterize its individual development phases. The Engineering Specialist has both management and engineering responsibilities, including setting up executive work plans, defining the budget, overseeing technical aspects, and coordinating the project team. The Specific Tasks Of The Engineering Specialist IncludeProject planning: Identifying the best strategy to implement the project and setting up a detailed work plan of the project development phases (GANTT). Internal communication: Providing timely updates on the progress of the project to its Manager through specific reporting. External communication: Interacting with suppliers, contractors, external agencies, or other external figures that may be useful for the completion of the project. Budget management: Managing the costs of the project, including cost evaluation, approval of the CAPEX (CAPital EXpenditure) by editing a CAR (Capital Appropriation Request), and monitoring and controlling spending. Project team management: Coordinating, organizing, and monitoring the activities of the team. Editing of the URS (User Requirements Specification): Preparing the technical reference document for the purchasing of equipment. Execution of FAT (Factory Acceptance Test)/SAT (Site Acceptance Test)/Commissioning: Coordinating, planning, and monitoring the functional tests to validate the design assumptions listed in the URS. Requirements2+ years of experience as a Process Engineer in the pharmaceutical sector. Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Biomedical Engineering. Project Management certification will be considered a plus. Fluent in English, both written and oral.
