Description: The Engineering Technician will play a crucial role in the planning, design, and construction methods of the project.

The Engineering Technician will have experience with principles and practices applicable to multidiscipline/trade projects as well as vertical and horizontal construction projects, technical engineering drawings and specifications, written statements of work, complex and diverse engineering designs and changes to the contract documents.

This contract position is based on site in Naples, Italy.

Qualifications and Requirements: Qualifications: Must hold Italian Citizenship.

Must successfully complete background investigation and any administrative vetting actions required to access Naples area bases.

Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English.

Experience: Technical and practical knowledge and experience (minimum 5 years, 10 years preferred) as a degreed Engineer or Architect who has worked on US Department of Defense or other similar government agency projects.

Skills and Abilities: Understanding of principles and practices applicable to multidiscipline/trade projects as well as vertical and horizontal construction projects, technical engineering drawings and specifications, written statements of work, complex and diverse engineering designs and changes to the contract documents.

Experience and ability to monitor project planning, design, and new construction, maintenance, repair and alteration projects to a successful and timely completion with respect to schedule and budget.

Ability to report on progress and outcome of technical assignments and to present recommendations to government personnel.

Shall be proficient in Microsoft Office, PowerBI and Project (or scheduling software equivalent) software along with Adobe Acrobat.

Skill with cable management in a ceiling beneficial.

Compensation: This is a contract 1099 position with fixed monthly pay.

Paid Holidays will include Italian holidays.
