Global Corporate & Commercial Italy is the unit of Generali Italia S. p. A. that develops insurance services for medium and large corporate clients.

Based in Milan, as resource of the Engineering Line of Business of GC&CI, you will deal with underwriting across the engineering products in Italy and abroad.

You will support the global strategy to ensure the successful achievement of the targets.

Main tasks:

- perform underwriting and portfolio management activities to achieve top and bottom line targets in harmony with the Engineering governance framework (Underwriting Authorities, Guidelines, Rules and Principles)

- underwrite Engineering risks in respect of all line of business products, for domestic and international programs, with the capability to drive the relationship with internal and external stakeholders in the insurance and reinsurance market

- support products development activity

- degree in Engineering

- at least three years previous experience as Corporate Engineering Underwriter

- fluent knowledge of Italian and English (spoken and written); it is preferred the knowledge of at least a second foreign language

- ability in commercial negotiation

- good communication skills

- attitude to work in team

- ability to work in an international context

- good command of main IT packages (Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, Internet browsers) and practice in the use of underwriting tools
