The ESG Expert is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the company's global Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) strategy.
This includes implementing the Group 2030 ESG plan, ensuring it evolves to meet the challenges of a rapidly changing global landscape.
The role involves driving sustainability and energy efficiency initiatives, embedding ESG principles across the whole company and value chain, and ensuring compliance with global standards.
The role requires a strong strategic mindset, expertise in sustainability practices, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams in driving impactful ESG initiatives.
Key Responsibilities: Strategy Development and Execution, impact measurement: According to the Chief Marketing&Sustainability Officer guidelines, implement the company's ESG strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and stakeholder expectations; Identify and address ESG risks and opportunities in line with industry best practices and global trends; Monitor the 2030 ESG goals and the related metrics to track progress to measure the impact of ESG initiatives.
Conduct regular assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including senior leadership, specific functions and employees, to embed ESG principles across the organization, report about progress and identify new development opportunities and potential criticalities; Engage with external stakeholders such as investors, regulators and customers to foster transparency and trust; Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with international ESG-related regulations and frameworks, such as CSRD (ESRS), GRI, SASB, TCFD, UN SDGs, and others; Oversee the preparation and publication of the company's annual ESG report and disclosures; Monitor and report on ESG performance metrics, benchmarks, and ratings.
Job requirements:Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Business Administration, or a related field; 6+ years of experience in ESG, sustainability, corporate responsibility, or a related field; Demonstrated success in designing and executing ESG strategies on a global scale; Experience with ESG reporting frameworks and regulatory compliance.
Skills: Strong understanding of environmental sustainability, social impact, and corporate governance trends; Outstanding communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement abilities; Strategic Thinking, Stakeholder Management, Innovation and Creativity, Adaptability to a Dynamic Global Environment, Strong Ethical Standards; English: professional level is a must.
