WSP Italia ha una nuova posizione aperta per un Esperto Senior in Biodiversità con almeno 15 anni di esperienza pertinente (tra cui Gestione Progetti e Clienti) per unirsi al nostro team di Servizi per la Sostenibilità con un contratto a tempo pieno con sede a Torino (Italia).

YOUR NEW ROLE, WHATS INVOLVED? In this role, you will develop environmental studies and authorisation documents for various plant types across different sectors.
You'll conduct Due Diligence assessments and environmental audits, preparing detailed calculation reports and graphical tables to illustrate project details.
By calculating quantities and prices and defining timelines, you'll provide essential information for planning and executing successful projects from start to finish.
You'll also design projects such as landfills and safety measures, using industry-standard software to visualize calculations, compute costs, and outline implementation methods.
Collaborating with a diverse team of professionals—like architects and engineers—you'll help create integrated design solutions that enhance project outcomes.
Additionally, you will analyse data to ensure regulatory compliance, identify potential issues, and propose solutions.
You'll contribute to environmental permitting studies and develop sustainable engineering solutions that are reliable and compatible.
Your technical support will include calculations for verifications and sizing, drafting various technical documents, and staying updated on industry regulations and trends to ensure project success.

WHAT IF IT WAS YOU? The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective problem-solving abilities.
You should be comfortable working in multidisciplinary teams and adaptable to a dynamic work environment, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively with others.
A passion for staying updated on regulations and exploring new technologies and materials is essential, as this role focuses on improving the efficiency of structures.
You will seek solutions that prioritize resource, time, and cost optimization while ensuring the stability and safety of structures.
A Master's degree in environmental or civil engineering is required, along with a solid understanding of fundamental engineering principles and local and national regulations.
You should have at least three years of experience in environmental consulting or interdisciplinary design of environmental engineering works.
Proficiency in design, modelling, and graphic software such as AutoCAD, REVIT, and Civil 3D is essential, along with familiarity with Word, Excel, Acrobat, and Microsoft Project.
Knowledge of GIS software and fluency in English will also be necessary to thrive in this role.
