Our client in Ispra, Italy is one of the biggest science hubs in Europe.

It employs approximately 3. 000 top-notch researchers, engineers and scientists eager to resolve challenges and provide knowledge in order to support EU policies in a variety of areas from agriculture and food security, to environment and climate change, as well as nuclear safety, security and growth.

At the moment, they are looking for an Environmental Data Analyst to be in invloved in the the processing of European-wide and regional spatially explicit datasets in the fields of food waste generation, prevention and valorization, including the assessment of the related supply chains, including support to the calculation of related environmental impacts.

The other Data Analyst will be involved in the same projects but needs to have a biochemical background.

**Tasks**:

Analysis and quality control of EU and national statistical datasets (e. g.

database of productionand consumption of food, material flow analysis)

Support the analysis and modeling of food waste generation and related supply-chains with material flow analysis tools, LCA software and ad hoc developed tools.

**Qualifications**:

Minimum of 3 years of higher education and 4 years of professional experience on top of studies.

Environmental specialist with significant experience in statistical and data analysis software for environmental data analysis and food or bacteria related datasets.

Good knowledge of LCA Analysis and relevant tools (SimaPro, Gambi, etc)

Proficiency in the use of statistical analysis (R, MatLab, etc) tools is required.

Knowledge of material flow analysis software

Knowledge of software for rendering (e. g.

Autocad)

Excellent and advanced Knowledge of Microsoft office package, especially excel.

Good writing and presentation skills in English.

Capability of working in an international/multicultural environment and working in team.
