WSP has a new opportunity for an E nvironmental Engineer  to join our Engineering Services team based in Roma or Rende (Cosenza).

The successful candidate will join our multidisciplinary, international team to support renewable energy projects.

YOUR NEW ROLE, WHATS INVOLVED?

The individual will carry out routine engineering tasks, applying fundamental engineering principles to specific portions of assigned projects.

Responsibilities include compiling, verifying, and correlating data to address engineering challenges and contributing to designs, studies, reports, and other project deliverables.

This may involve performing calculations, simulations, and preliminary analyses using prescribed methods and computer programs as directed.

Additionally, the role involves supporting the preparation of material requisitions, specifications, and related documentation while coordinating assigned work with other technical personnel.

The individual will also assist in developing and verifying project control documents and status reports, ensuring alignment with project objectives and requirements.

WHAT IF IT WAS YOU?

The ideal candidate will have basic knowledge of regulatory codes, standards, and design criteria relevant to renewable energy projects.

They will develop as a consultant or designer, producing quality deliverables within scope, schedule, and budget while adhering to established procedures.

Technical decisions will be routine and require accuracy and attention to detail.

Working under the guidance of senior engineers, the candidate may assist others on specific tasks and collaborate across disciplines as directed.

Strong communication skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to manage workloads are essential.

They should seek feedback, demonstrate growth potential, and begin building a professional network to support their long-term development.

Experience as Project Engineer; Degree in environmental engineering; Hydrology (HEC-RAS), Geology, Geotech; Deep knowledge of the authorization process for Renewables in Italy; Design of Renewable plants (PV, AgroPV, Wind onshore).

BESS and OSW is a plus; Constraint analysis (national, regional, provincial, local level); Environmental Impact Assessment & landscape analysis; Softwares: HEC-RAS, AutoCAD, GIS, Office Package WHAT YOU'LL LIKE ABOUT US: A working environment inspired by diversity , driven by inclusion.
