Your 'day to day':
As an Environmental Engineering Lead you will Drive agility, efficiency and leverage technology proficiency to deliver breakthrough solutions to significantly improve our sustainability and energy efficiency performance contributing to the PMI transformation.
Lead project and program delivery in partnership with the cross-functional team, own solution development from early technology scouting and innovation, validation and implementation to drive industry best in class and cutting edge technology solutions to satisfy internal customer needs in line with company and function's value creation drivers.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Lead, collaborate, influence and steer the multifunctional global and local teams within our project-based organization.
Be the catalyzer to drive collaboration within and outside function and project team boundaries to deliver company sustainability agenda defined by the company.
- Act a business owner, manage ambiguity and be agile to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
Strong technical background and sound business acumen to be a solution developer to solve our business needs.
- Scout, indentify and evaluate new and existing technologies to improve energy and sustainability footprint.
Leverage modeling and simulation, prototying and testing from proof of concept to solution maturity.
Solid technical background to drive and challenge.
- Leverage and foster internal and external ecosystems; bring the outside in and reshape/improve available solutions.
Ability to drive and influence project team and relevant stakeholders, within and external to the function.
- Own cost, schedule and excellence of delivery throughout the whole project milestones and gates.
- Strong project and cost management expertise.
Facilities and site masterplanning ownership to assess and design feasibility plans for capacity expansion both in brownfield and greenfield sites.
Requirements & Skills:
- College/University Degree in Environmental, Mechanical, Chemical or Automation Engineering
- 'Thorough knowledge and experience in project management, engineering, Industry 4. 0 and innovation.
- Skilled and experienced in leading complex projects, from solution scouting through simulation to acceptance and qualification.
- Solid technical background in the energy, water and waste technologies.
- Agile and able to deal with ambiguity in a fast-paced enviroment.
- Excellent leadership and influencing skills, ability to communicate and steer at all the levels of the organization.
- Inquisitive mindset and curiosity, ability to anticipate needs.
- Inclusive and engaging with the cross-functional team.
- Excellent English both written and spoken.
