Position Summary:

**What's the role?

We're looking for an Environmental Sustainability Expert located in Barge (CN) who will be working in a uniquely high-performing, inclusive and collaborative working culture, coordinating and managing initiatives in the ESG field with particular focus on the Environmental initiatives aimed at exploring new paths to carbon neutrality.

**What does the role involve?

Reporting to the Energy Manager, you will have to guarantee the development and implementation of Environmental Sustainability at European Level Specifically you will have the following responsibilities:

- coordinate and conduct environmental due diligence programs and carbon footprint assessment

- identify potential environmental risks & opportunities and ensure that all stakeholders understand the applicable ESG policies, guidelines and project-specific requirements

- provide technical expertise on key issues related to environmental initiatives

- define the steps necessary to address compliance gaps arising from public policies and customers requests and identify opportunities for improvement

- formulate recommendations and requirements and incorporate these into applicable internal documentation/policies

- contribute to long-term strategy in terms of risk mitigation

- engage internal and external stakeholders in Environmental initiatives, monitor progresses and assure proper follow-up

- take a leading role in managing data and reporting in the environment field

Key requirements are:

- Engineering degree or equivalent title

- 3 years working experience in ESG positions in multinational and industrial companies

- Ability to handle multiple projects, prioritize higher value work, handle deadline pressures, and sensitive information.

Certification in Project Management is a plus.

- Entrepreneurial, team building/working attitude

- Excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills

- Ability to pinpoint problems and identify solution

- Ability to work independently and creatively

- Excellent writing & communication skills in English

- Willing to travel 50% time
