Italy Solutions is searching for an Equipment Specialist Jr, reporting directly to the Industrial Plant Engineering Head to join our team based in Italy, Rome Office.

About the Job You will work inside the Equipment Specialists team that is in charge of mechanical design, procurement, and supplier management of equipment (compressors, pumps, heat exchangers, packages, etc. ).

Key interfaces of the Equipment Engineer are Project teams, Procurement department, Process department, Construction department, other engineering disciplines, Clients, and Suppliers.

The role and your responsibilities include:

Ensure timely and qualitative preparation of project technical specifications in coordination with other disciplines; Equipment preliminary design to calculate minimum thicknesses and foundation loads; Preparation of material requisition for inquiry; Technical analysis of received bids; Preparation of material requisition for purchase; Managing of detailed engineering phase and technical follow-up of the orders ensuring proper communication with suppliers; Adhere to the committed man/hours and budget; Meet quality and HSE objectives of the project; Interface with other discipline engineers and project supporting functions such as planning and cost controller engineers.

You will have the opportunity to have business trips to attend technical meetings with Clients or Suppliers, and visit Vendor workshops.

Occasionally, you will also have the opportunity to follow up engineering activities directly on our sites, supporting erection, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up activities.

About You We'd love to hear from you if your profile meets the following essential requirements:

Experience: No experience required.

Qualifications: Degree with full marks in Mechanical Engineering, or similar.

Preferential criteria: CAD, 3D software Languages: Italian mother tongue, English fluent Main Skills: teamwork, enthusiasm and proactivity, curiosity in dealing with new issues What's next?
