COMPANY PROFILE:

**PRIMARY FUNCTION**:

- Assess the physical workplace in Construction Segment Manufacturing Plants

- Identify constraints of workplace and workstations for employees both to physiological and pathological conditions

- Analyse how employees actually use equipment and machinery if in conformity with their function

- Undertake workplace risk assessments

- Assess work environments and their effect on users

- Use assessment results to identify areas for improvement

- Support the design and implementation of practical solutions to implement these improvements to existing workstations/production lines

- Use detailed knowledge of the human body to improve the design of new workstations/production lines/manufacturing facilities

- Define and implements programs that will assist employees to avoid repetitive stress, cumulative trauma, and other injuries and impairments.

- interview individuals and observe them in a particular type of environment, as part of the research process

- liaise with staff at all levels of an organisation to undertake research

**QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS**:

- Relevant qualification in engineering, health sciences, human physiology, industrial design, occupational therapy, physiotherapy

- Minimum 5 years previous experience the role in industrial manufacturing companies

- Fluent in English and Italian, Portuguese is a plus

- Good communication and presentation skills

- Strong analytical skills

- Proficiency in MS Office suite
