Seeking Estate Planning in Venice, FL. Ledbetter Law Group, a boutique firm specializing in estate planning, business organization, real estate, and estate/trust administration, is currently hiring an experienced paralegal.

ResponsibilitiesJob duties include but are not limited to: Drafting legal documentsDrafting Wills, trusts, and advance directivesCommunicate with clientsWorking with financial institutionsWorking with other attorney's officesWorking with the County Clerk's officeMaintaining correspondence with clients and other involved partiesPerforming various administrative tasks required to organize and maintain files (copying, scanning, faxing, etc. )Accurately entering billable timeManaging a caseload of open filesWork closely with the Lead Paralegal and AttorneyAttendance at firm events, such as client appreciation, and team-building activitiesKeeping an accurate case listWork directly with the supervising attorneyQualificationsPossess the ability to work independentlyPossess the ability to prioritize dutiesPossess the ability to complete assignments in a timely mannerPossess the ability to work as a Team MemberHave excellent organizational skillsWork efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitudeAre organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently but as a team memberAre extremely proficient with Microsoft WordAre extremely proficient with Microsoft ExcelAre extremely proficient with AdobeProficient in Practice Panther client management softwareProficient in using practice management softwarePossess strong written and verbal communication skillsComfortable working in a team environmentHave familiarity with timekeeping software and experience working in a law officeHave experience in working in estate planningHave experience in working in business organization mattersMust understand time management2 to 5 years of experienceA paralegal certificate is a plus!Florida Notary PublicAbility to act as a notary publicBackground check and references requiredCompensation$55, 000 - $65, 000 yearly
