We are currently seeking an Estimating Specialist (Piping), reporting directly to the Piping Estimating Section Head to join our Estimating team based in Rome, Italy.

About The Role:

You will work in the Estimating department producing piping estimates for specific proposals and/or projects, and your key accountabilities will be the following:

Analysis of bidder requirements and ITB documentationPreparation of piping material take off in accordance with T. EN methodologyCoordinate the MTO activities performed by HVECCheck of material take off in line with the tender documentationPriced BOM and BOQ preparation including MTO completion, forced detail estimate and appropriate allowances levelPreparation of piping reportsDevelop simplified requisitions for budget inquiry and liaise with procurement departmentAnalysis of commercial bid tabulationSupport in collecting all relevant data for quantities and price benchmarkingSetting piping cost estimatePreparation of price breakdown for the commercial offer to be submittedUpdating and maintaining data in bank and toolsCoordination with piping design, material management, welding, and coating departmentsLiaise with Subcontracting Department for the BOQ finalization Starting Date: a. s. a. p.

To be successful in this mission you should consider the following requirements:

High school diploma or relevant technical diploma. A minimum of 3 years experience performing similar functions in the refinery/petrochemical industryHigh knowledge of Office sources (Excel, Access) and Database (Oracle, Java)Basic understanding of the principles of cost control, estimating and project reportingPrevious experience in Project execution and use of SPMAT, 3D software and Autocad are considered a plusEffective communication and presentation skillsEnglish fluent Your career with us
