WSP is seeking an Ethics and Compliance Analyst , based from Milan or Turin , to support the implementation, monitoring, and improvement of the company's Ethics and Compliance (E&C) program in the Central Europe region.
Reporting to the Regional E&C Officer based in the Netherlands and as part of a global team managed from Montreal, Canada, you'll play a key role in fostering a strong ethical culture.
Your responsibilities will include implementing the Code of Conduct, training, developing policies and procedures, conducting internal investigations, monitoring controls, vetting third parties, auditing, managing risks, and ensuring compliance with European, Canadian, and other applicable laws.
While the role is multifaceted, we don't expect candidates to meet every requirement and will support your growth.
Operating in a multinational business environment, you'll balance jurisdictional requirements while contributing to the region's business culture and growth.

YOUR NEW ROLE, WHATS INVOLVED?
Under the guidance of the CE Regional Ethics & Compliance (E&C) Officer, you will support the development and implementation of the regional E&C program.
This includes updating and maintaining corporate E&C policies in coordination with regional and global E&C teams to ensure they are effectively communicated and adhered to.
Key responsibilities involve monitoring compliance with E&C program controls, compiling and reporting key metrics, and addressing E&C-related inquiries, such as conflicts of interest, gifts and entertainment, and supplier declarations.
You will also collaborate with related functions to integrate E&C controls into corporate systems, identify opportunities for improvement, and streamline governance processes.
Additional duties include conducting project-specific integrity reviews and providing risk-based recommendations, supporting anticorruption risk assessments, and assisting in the design and delivery of E&C communications and training programs.
You may also be involved in internal investigations, maintaining internal and external E&C webpages, and other responsibilities as assigned by the CE Regional E&C Officer.
This role demands a proactive approach to ensuring ethical standards and compliance across the region.
WHAT IF IT WAS YOU?
Candidates should hold relevant qualifications in business, risk management, or law (e. g. , LLB, CFE, or equivalent), or ethics and compliance certifications (e. g. , a degree in business ethics, CCEP, or similar).
Proficiency in both spoken and written English is mandatory , along with fluency in additional relevant languages, particularly Italian and Spanish.
Professional experience of 3–5 years in a relevant field , ideally in ethics and compliance within a corporate setting, is highly desirable.
Familiarity with data analytics, spreadsheets, or core corporate systems will also be a strong asset.
Applicants must have knowledge of regional anti-corruption, anti-fraud, and competition laws.
Key skills include exceptional organisational abilities , attention to detail, and the capacity to thrive in fast-paced, multitasking environments with time-sensitive workloads.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in multinational settings are essential, alongside excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey ideas clearly and concisely.
