We are currently seeking a ETO Chillers Offers Supervisor to join our dynamic team in Piove di Sacco, Italy!Act as the main point of contact and lead coordinator of ETO Chiller feasibility studies, special simulations and offers.
To act as interface with Sales Application Engineering (AE), Offering and Service departments on ETO solutions.
To cooperate on development of ETO Chiller Orders (ETO and ETO-C).
To cooperate, when/if required, with VPD Chiller team, on concept development of new products or improve the existing one's base on specific client's needs, complying the quality, time, and cost targets, implementing the best compromise between market requirements, production, and industrialization links.
To develop offers for special products based on specific customers need complying the quality, time and cost targets, implementing the best compromise between market requirements, production and industrialization links.
Work in cooperation with Offering and VPD dpts on feasibility and quotation phases of ETO-C projects.
Interface with other departments. What kind of work will you be doing? Daily plan the Engineering tasks related to ETO requests priority list, working closely with AE department on the customers' requests.
Balancing the Engineering workload between Offers and Orders plans; assuring the minimum lead time on Offers development is one of the most important KPIs of this role. Design the product features, undertaking the direct responsibility of the choice and sizing of the main components. Analyze and check the technical problems featuring the products he is responsible for. Process and review the basic documentation for each product. Select the solutions and/or size the main components required for offering special products. Evaluate the possible usage of obsolete parts in ETO projects and look for alternative materials. Calculate the costs of the designed solutions in cooperation with ETO manager, when/if required. Participate in the final testing of new products. Select key components. Work in accordance with ITC regulations. Ensure compliance with the safety and quality norms in the competence area. Work with AE team and the Supervisor of ETO CRAC units, based in Slovakia, on continuous improvements of procedures and tools used for ETO development, with the aim to continuously improve the efficiency of the team. What will make you successful? Leadership Skills: Coordination of daily tasks and key point of contact for internal customers. Excellent knowledge of thermodynamic and refrigeration principles. Capacity for decision-making in problem-solving. Knowledge of refrigerant, hydraulic and mechanical components of Chillers and understanding of the construction principles of Air Conditioning units. Knowledge of technical norms. Knowledge of management computer systems. Knowledge of technical drawings. Fluent in speaking, reading, and writing in the English language.
