In this role, you'll be designing and implementing corporate solutions/information systems to facilitate the successful execution of the Commission's Digital Transformation and EU policies.

Your responsibilities will include creating business architecture models, integrating project strategies with business goals, identifying cost-saving opportunities, evaluating system vulnerabilities, and providing guidance on business architecture and systems processing.

R4, in partnership with other Commission services and stakeholders, provides high-quality corporate solutions/information systems in support of DG TRADE, enabling the successful implementation of the Commission's Digital Transformation and EU policies.

In close collaboration with other Commission services and its customers, DG TRADE. R4 builds and operates a portfolio of around 20 information systems in the areas of the EU's common policy on trade with countries beyond the EU borders. YOUR TASKSCreate business architecture models that reflect the organization's strategies and goalsIntegrate the project and program strategies and ensure alignment with business strategies and drivers, and management prioritiesIdentify ways to reduce costs in IT and business leadershipEvaluate systems for discrepancies or vulnerabilitiesConduct research to find ways to improve operationsProvide business architecture and systems processing guidanceCreate and implement a business vision and multi-year planYOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCEFollowing specific expertise is mandatory:Very good knowledge of Share Point with experience of at least 16 yearsVery good knowledge of MS SQL Server with experience of at least 16 yearsVery good knowledge of JavaScript & jQuery with experience of at least 9 yearsStrong PowerShell scripting skills for automation and configuration tasksKnowledge of Jira & ConfluenceRequirements:Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, COBIT, Zachman, and actual experience developing and building models based on such frameworksKnowledge of enterprise architecture notations such as ArchiMate, BPMNKnowledge of enterprise architecture tools such as ARISExperience defining and implementing strategies under a CIO or equivalentAbility to combine many different skills and experiences to address and solve business, information, and technology-related opportunities and problemsExtensive experience with enterprise architecture best practices and goalsExcellent leadership and conciliation skillsCommunication skills, both verbal (e.
