EU Retail Operations Coordinator**:

**Reporting**: Europe Retail Operations Manager

**Perimeter of work**:All Retail Channels in Europe (Monobrand, Concession, Outlet)

Responsible to support Europe Retail Operations Manager delivering operational excellence in stores, fostering a culture of consistency that supports the Diesel brand strategies and excellent customer experience.

Supervise and guarantee the implementations and maintenance of local standards, processes, procedures and measurements to simplify operations and maintain an efficient operational framework across all stores.

**JOB DESCRIPTION

Reporting directly to Europe Retail Operations Manager:

- Support the Europe Retail Operations Manager in planning, execution and monitoring of multiple projects with strong analytical focus.

- Provides necessary support in order to achieve business objectives.

- Support the Europe Retail Operations Manager to solve operational issues guaranteeing the right communication process with HQ departments.

- Work to continually improve current processes and practices, providing inputs to ensure operational efficiency.

- Provides management with statistics, dashboards and analysis for assigned projects.

- Leads and coordinates the development and implementation of operational initiatives aimed at optimizing retail operations, performance and quality of services (structure, organization, safety, procedures, training, etc.

).

- Executes programs to deliver communications efficiency throughout the organization with a view to streamline communications structures between corporate and store teams.

- Regular engagement with business partners and store teams to support the operational activities.

- Support the Europe Retail Operations Manager as a point of contact for HQ operations at a regional level (when introducing new tools or new projects).

- Support Europe Retail Operations Manager in order to guarantee all operations standards in each store of Europe.

- Ensures communication and understanding of the rules defined: Implement and maintain local and global guidelines (where applicable), processes, policies and procedures to support all areas of store operations, including omnichannel activities, stock management/organization/product flow, stock counts, store systems, loss prevention, etc.

- Support new store openings, remodels, relocations and closures as required, serving as the local liaison for HQ functions and field managers, ensuring global standards set are implemented; provide feedback to Europe Retail Operations Manager where required to ensure systems and designs are fit for purpose.

- Partner with local IT and Facility to ensure a high standard of maintenance in stores regarding devices and tools useful to support all the store activities and customer experience.

- Regional point of contact for other in store services such as Gift Cards, Tax Free Shopping, and other initiatives fitting with the Diesel brand to drive additional revenue.

- Identify the essential needs of the stores proposing and defining Store Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPs) with the aim of creating a standardized and simplified process that can be followed by all the stores, thus allowing a coherent performance of activities throughout the Region Europe.

**REQUIREMENTS

- 5-8 years of experience in retail field, preferably matured in a complex Store environment with strong focus on retail operation activities

- Excellent organizational skills and goal orientation

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and in writing, in Italian as well as in English

- Ability to interact efficiently with various stakeholders across all levels of the organization, as well as with external stakeholders

- Digital mindset and proven ability to embrace new technologies

- Considering the international exposure of the position, fluency in English is a must, as also a second or third language will be considered a fundamental requirement

**ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

The position is based in Diesel European Headquarters in Milan, and availability to travel on a regular basis across Europe is a fundamental requirement.
