Job Description: We are looking for a Software PLC Designer to join our Technical Electronics Office, reporting to the Head of the Technical Electronics Office.

The candidate will play a central role in the development, programming, and optimization of PLC control systems.

Specifically, the responsibilities include:

Advanced programming using Ladder and Structured Text languages, according to IEC 61131-3 standards; Reviewing and formalizing existing software languages, with the possibility of rewriting codes based on technical expertise; Providing technical support during the installation and testing phases of machines, both on-site and at client locations; Diagnosing and resolving issues related to electrical components and control systems.

Skills & Experience: The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:

Education: Degree or diploma in technical-scientific disciplines (Computer Science, Electronics, Industrial Automation, or related fields); Professional Experience: At least 2-3 years in similar roles in companies operating on a project basis.

Experience in the ceramic sector is a plus; Strong knowledge of PLC platforms, particularly Siemens and Codesys or equivalents; Applied knowledge of servo systems (Brushless, Inverter) and axis control electronics; Good ability to read electrical schematics and manual skills for small modifications to electrical panels; Language Skills: Good knowledge of English to interface with international clients and suppliers; Proactivity, results orientation, problem-solving skills, openness to discussion, and excellent interpersonal skills are essential attributes.

Employment Type: Permanent contract

Salary: Commensurate with experience, with an indicative RAL between 30-35K;

Work Location: Fiorano Modenese (MO) with availability for short trips in Italy and abroad for software development testing.
