**About the position**:
This position will be in office administration, with a focus on managing Guides schedules, making sure that the tours are assigned the exact Guide as per the product and handling the wide network of experienced licensed Guides in Italy and Europe together with the Guide management team.
Day-to-day activities will include: under the Guide Manager supervision and using the internal software:
- prepare the monthly schedule assigning guides to the different tours
- close or open tours depending on guides availabilities
- adapt agreed payments for Guides on the schedule
- proactively engage Guides for tours to be filled
- answer phone calls from Guides seeking assistance while on the ground in Europe.
- assisting Guides who wish to change their schedule or have issues with the itineraries.
- keeping the tour schedule meticulously organized, fine tuning with the different departments needs such as Customer Care & Logistics, Ticketing and so on.
- Maintaining seamless communication with the US team to ensure tours and services can run as promised.
- Working with the Office teams to resolve last minute issues when they arise
**Desired experience and qualifications**:
- Fluent in English, any other European language will be a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for working in an international context
- Excellent phone presence
- Experience in customer service for discerning clients
- Strong digital proficiency and general computer skills
- A college education is required
- A professional background in the travel industry is not necessary, but experience in traveling and a love of travel will be beneficial!
