Based in our Vercelli facility, you will have the opportunity to shape one of Europe's most ambitious innovation projects, combining industry-leading technology, sustainable operations, and collaborative research.

As the European Innovation Hub Manager, you will be part of a dynamic team of engineers in a state-of-the-art laboratory environment that sits at the intersection of customer experience, sustainability, and technological advancement.

This role offers a unique opportunity to drive meaningful impact across Amazon's global operations while championing solutions that benefit both our customers and the environment.

You will have the unique opportunity to pioneer the development of a state-of-the-art innovation facility, creating an immersive experience for clients, partners, and stakeholders.

In this position, you'll be at the forefront of developing and implementing next-generation mechatronics and sustainable packaging solutions that enhance the customer experience.

You'll have the opportunity to collaborate within a highly skilled team, foster innovation through continuous improvement initiatives, and serve as a key ambassador for Amazon's technological capabilities both internally and externally.

The lab serves as a crucial hub for testing, validation, and advancement of technologies that will shape how millions of customers receive their Amazon packages.

A day in the life Develop and implement the hub's strategic vision and business planCreate and maintain strategic partnerships with key stakeholdersDrive the development of innovative solutions and research programsManage the hub's budget, financials and operational KPIsOversee facility operations and experience designOversee lab operations including equipment maintenance, safety protocols, and testing proceduresDrive continuous improvement initiatives for lab processes and test methodologiesRepresent the Lab capabilities both internally and externally Basic Qualifications Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related fieldProfound and demonstrated experience with proven track record in innovation leadershipStrong business acumen and budget management experienceExperience in building and managing innovation centers or research facilitiesDemonstrated ability to build and maintain strategic partnershipsExcellence in stakeholder management and communicationProficiency in hardware prototyping, testing methodologies, and validation processesStrong understanding of mechanical/robotics systemsExperience with CAD software and other relevant engineering toolsKnowledge of relevant industry standards and safety regulationsStrong problem-solving skillsFluent in English and ItalianFlexibility to travel +50% internationally Preferred Qualifications Strategic thinking and execution excellenceStrong interpersonal and networking skillsAbility to inspire and influence diverse teamsResult-oriented with entrepreneurial mindsetChange management expertise Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
