About The Role Business Developer leading the sales strategy for the marketing and growth of new Automatic Door clientele and management of assigned accounts to drive growth while ensuring the productivity and profitability of these relationships.
The position is primarily responsible for prospecting new clients, leveragingrelationships, andGunnebo's organizational solution (products and services) strengths and executing the sales plan that will enable the region to meet its sales and growthobjectives.
This position will be based in Italy and covers a Global remit.
The role reports to General Manager, Italy.
This role has no direct line management responsibilities but will work collaboratively across the business with customer service, technical support and any other Global Automatic Door sales teams. What You Will DoBusiness development of business contacts into long-term business relationships.
Build, develop, qualifyand close a pipeline of new business opportunitiesrequiredto achievesales objectiveswith a primary focus on security opportunities for retail, using our internal software and procedure for the continuous reports Understand and monitor market trends and competitors.
Maintain and develop client hunting list, pipelineand sales plan.
Ensure the assigned annual sales plan for the role is achieved.
Understand and act upon cross-selling opportunities and present applicable Gunnebo's solutions and services of our full product portfolio.
Understand and interpret prospective client's security, operational and financial objectives.
Maintain frequent contact with all clients and deliver best-in-class customer service byprovidingnew solutionsthat apply to client needs.
Deliver advanced solution presentations, (verbal and written) to prospective customers that comprehensively outline the solutions, benefitsand ROI Work closely with operations to ensure major projects are successfully completed and signed off by the customer, and with all the colleagues to ensure the delivery of the sales targets, order intakes and Gross Margins Stay current with external and internal developments within the industry Communicate to the direct manager opportunity and issues and propose solution Participate and support debt collection Travel isrequired, and the participation to trade fairs and events Who we are looking forAt least 5 years of experience in the same or similar Industry, plus 5 years sales management experience and a minimum of 3 years business development experience A team player with an eagerness to learn A strong network in the commercial properties and institutional verticals Experience in working with/through consultants, architects and customer in the technical specification of security solutions A proven backgroundutilizinga consultative / solution sales approach strategy Proven ability to network, prospect and convert new clients and build strong relationships Strong business acumen with the ability to quickly understand the client's business, processes, andobjectivesthat will translate into effective solution propositions The ability to work under pressure, work independently, and persevere Exceptional communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills Excellent organizational, time management, negotiation, and customer service skills Proficiencyin all Microsoft Office software packages and overall computer skillsand a preference with Dynamics 365.
