**Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026**is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games.

Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 13 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2, 300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22, 000 square km.
The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI).
Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government.
Position
Event Services is the Functional Area, within the Organizing Committee for the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games, that is among other things in charge to plan, design and provide a safe, comfortable and welcoming flow plan and experience to:
- Ticketed spectators at Competition Venues;
- All accredited stakeholders at the Non-Competition Venues.
The Event Services Non-Competition venues Lead Planner will be the Team Member mostly focused on the Event Services operations at Non Competition Venues such as Villages, Main Media Centre, OFH and PFH.
The person on this position will be focused on working within the Event Services Ceremonies and Non Competition Team to plan EVS operations, participate in Non Competition venues operations planning, plan EVS resources, including workforce, and be part of the delivery of the plan during the operations, readiness and testing phases.
This role works in close collaboration with the EVS Operations Department, both with the Competition and the Non-Competition Clusters because of the many interdependencies and, mostly, tomake sure to use the same operational parameters and to guarantee the same level of service to all Stakeholders.
This role also works as a part of the Non Competition Venue Teams together with the representatives of other FAs
The Event Services Non-Competition Venue Lead Planner will support, based on specific needs, the operational planning of all Non-Competition venues.
He/She will:
- Support the Event Services Non-Competition Venues Team in working with other Departments, within the Organizing Committee, to design the operational plans for all different Non-Competition Venues spread across different territories.
In addition to that, these plans will have to be fully integrated and aligned with what required by local regulations and/or external entities or partners such as local authorities, local event delivery entities, etc;
- Participate in the work with the Non-Competition Venue Management Teams and other FAs, guarantee the EVS presence and support;
- Build solid and collaborative relationships with other Functional Areas in charge to plan and deliver the Operations at Non-Competition Venues for the Organizing Committee;
- Provide regular updates and, where needed, escalate operational risks and issues to the Event Services Ceremonies and Non-Competition Venues Manager;
- Plan for the right type and quantities of resources needed to implement the EVS Non-Competition operational plan;
- Support the work with Master Schedule tasks related to the Non-Competition Venues plan and monitor their status of accomplishment.
Track risks and issues and report to Central Management;
- Participate in regular Event Services update meetings both within the EVS Non-Competition Venues Team and within the larger EVS Group;
- Work in close collaboration with the Event Services Workforce team to establish the most suitable and efficient staffing allocation plan based on the available resources;
- Support both the EVS Operations and EVS Staffing/Training Teams as needed;
- Represent effectively and respectably EVS at meetings as required;
- Support Event Services Ceremonies and Non-Competition Venues Manager as needed;
- Other assignments as required during both the planning and the operational phase.
**Requirements**:
- University Degree;
- Experience of Olympic Games planning and operations desirable;
- Operations Management experience in large-scale events, productions, or venues;
- Proven ability to effectively and efficiently work with a hig
