Assist in proctoring exams when needed. Assist in providing testing accommodations such as reading, scribing, and assistive technology when needed. Monitor traffic in LSS reception area to direct students to the proctoring room, print and scan exams, and troubleshoot any issues that arise. Provide coverage for when the Exam Proctoring Coordinator is unavailable. Undertake miscellaneous tasks the Exam Proctoring Coordinator or other Learning Support Services Staff may require seasonal assistance with, including:Walk-in booking sessionsCommunication with undergraduate proctoring staffMidterm and final exam coverageDelivery of examsNumber of positions: 3Department: 122-Learning Support ServicesContact Name: Holly StupakContact Phone/Extension: 6105195641Position Summary InformationJob Description Summary: The Exam Proctoring Assistant handles responsibilities including scheduling, printing, proctoring, scanning, and monitoring exams, communicating with faculty, staff, and students.
The Exam Proctoring Assistant is also necessary to ensure that, in the event the Exam Proctoring Coordinator is unavailable, another constituent on campus is able to assist with questions of exam scheduling and other daily tasks necessary to the smooth functioning of accommodated exam proctoring. Hours are Monday-Friday 9-5pm with some evening hours (T/Th- 5pm-9pm).
