The Position EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT MANAGER Main Purpose: The Executive Assistant Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of hotel and its staff, assisting and substituting the General Manager.
He/she is also in charge of the FB department supervision, which includes Restaurants, Bars, In Room Dining and Banqueting.
Reports to: General Manager.
Main Responsibilities: Support the General Manager in conducting inspections of the different hotel operations to ensure service excellence is consistently maintained with a major focus on the FB department; Ensure health, safety, hygiene and other relevant legislative obligations are fulfilled, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of the hotel, guests and colleagues; Conduct or chair regular communication meetings with department heads and actively participate in relevant business meetings to facilitate effective communication; Support the General Manager in all the daily operations and in assisting to prepare budgets forecasts; Be available to meet with Guests and help Department Heads deal with discerning or unsatisfied guests, responding to guest complaints in a timely and empathic manner; Closely monitor guest feedback, communicate feedback results and make recommendations for improvement; Support in managing the performance of all direct reports in line with the company policy, standard and procedures; Motivate and build a working environment in which team members are productive and innovative; Keep the culture of the hotel alive by embedding Rocco Forte Hotels values, promoting a fair, safe and inclusive environment, creating initiatives that engage and empower the team; Represent the hotel in public, community, and meetings using his/her effective public speaking and presentation skills.
Help in financial management of the facility, analyzing budgets and contributing to periodic reports; Support in managing the entire FB Division, according the to the Company policies, standard and procedures, maintaining its high reputation; Support in developing budget for all necessary FB equipment and recommends facility renovation needs; Ensures that all applicable LQA and Rocco Forte Hotels standards are followed and maintained.

Other requirements: Proven experience (at least 3 years) as Director of FB; Knowledge of HS provisions as per national rules; Ability to manage the budget on a daily, weekly and monthly basis; Proficiency in English and Italian; Proficiency in a third European language French is preferable; Exceptional attention to detail.
