Executive Business Development
In **WTW** we are looking to hire an **EXECUTIVE Business Development** within our offices in Milan.
**The Role
Business Development Executive
- Develop and enhance new business relationships to ensure maintenance and sustainable growth of the Italian prospect pipeline.
- Research, develop and deliver sales strategies and overall direction.
- Generate opportunities, set and attend appointments with prospects.
- Co-ordinate tender opportunities and project manage responses.
- Closely interact with prospects to identify specific opportunities including 'Needs Analysis' and introduction of WTW Specialism's.
- Contribute to the overall achievement of the team New Business target on an annual basis.
- Actively seek and secure new business opportunities, including through up selling and cross selling of broader WTW service offerings.
- Ensure quality and accuracy of pipeline is maintained
- Represent WTW at various industry events, conferences, seminars etc.
as may be required.

**Requirements**:
- Insurance broking/industry experience with corporate clients (minimum 5 years)
- New business or revenue generation experience (as an insurance professional within an Insurance company or Insurance Broking/Risk Advisory capacity)
- Strong understanding of business and commerce generally, the environment in which our clients operate and how the risk transfer process supports their overall risk management strategy
- Ability to prioritise work, manage deadlines and work under pressure
- Ability to adapt personal style to work effectively with a wide range of clients, colleagues and underwriters
- Strong negotiation skills coupled with an ability to be flexible and innovative
- Strong relationship building and networking skills
- Excellent numeracy skills
- Must be prepared to work with integrity and openness
- A team player with ability to demonstrate credibility and gain trust
- Strong communication and 'people skills', able to build strong relationships with key decision makers internally and externally
- Well-developed presentation ability
