Executive Program Director - H/M Turboprop Engine
Job Description Summary**: The Executive Program Director for H/M Turboprop Engine Series and Service Leader, directly reporting to the Product Management and Customer Support responsible, will be the Service Leader for Avio Aero and for GE Aviation Czech working in collaboration with military and CRO Program Directors and will own the H/M series program in term of economic results (revenues and margins), of product reliability enhancement and of support of installed fleet through the Prague Customer Support organization.
**Essential responsibilities
As Program Director for H/M Turboprop Engine Series:
- Owns the development of the relationship with the Customers of H/M series engine in terms of partnership creation, collaboration and identification of needs and priorities (feedback elaboration)
- Accountable to achieve Company targets for H/M series (such budget, Strategy, Business Plan, KPI, reporting, . . . ), business's economics (revenues, contribution margin, inventory), credit collection (including Past due)
- Manage the Customer Support for H/M series program enhancing the quality of the service in terms of product availability, support consistency, efficiency and speed.
- Support the integration of Turboprop - Prague Program Management and Customer Support in Avio Aero operating rhythm and standard work, leading people, developing the talents growth and identifying proper career paths and setting team objectives
- Collaborate with Turboprop - Prague functions to optimize H/M series program management
- Coordinate the programs / contracts risk management identifying appropriate control and mitigation actions
As Service Leader for AvioAero and Turboprop - Prague:
- Long term MRO / CRO planning of capability, capacity and materials for new programs (both NPI EIS or acquisition of contract for product in service)
- Select the appropriate service business model
- Where applicable, identify the appropriate fleet management model
- Identify, in tight coordination with GSC, the adequate industrial footprint and the related capabilities in terms of product, repair, technology, equipment
- Size the proper level of inventory of parts needed to meet the operational TAT
- Build and manage the applicable Risk Analysis and action plan up to product qualification
- Structure and agree with all involved functions the industrialization and qualification phases in terms of time, costs and steps
- The role of MRO / CRO cost control and margin expansion leader through an established and regular Repair Cost Board (RCB) acting on costs and scraps review, update of CMM and internal instructions, development & make/buy of new repair
- The development and maintenance of a set of KPI's consistent through the businesses and aligned on customer priorities at all organizational levels
- In addition he will support the Avio Aero and Turboprop - Prague functions in terms of growth of competences specifically oriented to manage and growth the MRO / CRO businesses, the standardization of processes, tools and training, the optimization of the company organization
**Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering
- Extensive (minimum 15 years) and specific experience in MRO covering the different aspects of the business, as marketing, sales, program and contract management, customer support
- Experience in managing similar product portfolio in terms of size and complexity, particularly in international and multinational companies
- Knowledge of engine and components market, EASA P21G & P145 regulations, MRO and CRO contractual and operational KPI's
- Able to identify, define and execute product strategies
- People leader expert in managing multi cultural and international teams
- Appropriate communication skills with all levels of internal and external organizations also at Senior levels
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills and negotiation ability
- Strong influence capability, results oriented, change agent
- Fluent written and spoken Italian and English
- Work Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is required.
