Expert In Compliance And Insurances
We are seeking an experienced Expert in Compliance and Insurances to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of compliance requirements, regulations, and insurance policies across various industries.
You will play a critical role in ensuring the organization's operations, contracts, and activities are compliant with relevant laws, standards, and insurance requirements.
A) Key Responsibilities : Compliance Management Develop, implement, and manage the organization's compliance programs to ensure adherence to all relevant local, national, and international laws and regulations.
Regularly review and update compliance policies and procedures to meet the latest regulatory requirements.
Conduct audits and assessments to evaluate the company's compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
Provide ongoing advice and guidance to senior management and departments regarding compliance risks and best practices.
Monitor industry trends, changes in laws, and regulatory developments to ensure proactive compliance strategies.
Insurance Management Oversee the organization's insurance portfolio, ensuring that all business activities are adequately covered by appropriate insurance policies.
Liaise with insurance brokers and providers to negotiate coverage terms, premium rates, and claims processes.
Review and analyze insurance policies, identifying any potential gaps in coverage or areas of improvement.
Assist in the design and implementation of insurance-related risk management strategies.
Manage the claims process by liaising with insurance providers, ensuring claims are handled efficiently and in a timely manner.
Risk Assessment & Mitigation Assess and identify potential compliance risks related to company operations, including regulatory, legal, and financial risks.
Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop risk mitigation strategies and ensure that the organization complies with relevant insurance requirements.
Develop and implement internal training programs to raise awareness of compliance and insurance policies and best practices among employees.
Prepare and present regular reports on compliance and insurance status to senior management and key stakeholders.
Contract & Policy Review Review and analyze contracts and agreements to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, especially concerning insurance clauses and coverage.
Advise the business on compliance risks related to contractual obligations and insurance needs.
Ensure that insurance requirements are accurately incorporated into contracts, particularly for third-party relationships and vendor agreements.
Regulatory & Legal Liaison Act as the point of contact for regulatory bodies, legal teams, and insurers on matters related to compliance and insurance.
Represent the company during regulatory inspections, audits, and insurance reviews.
Prepare and submit reports and documentation required for regulatory filings and insurance audits.
B) Qualifications : Education : bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related field; certifications in compliance or insurance are highly preferred.
Experience : At least 5 years of experience in compliance, insurance, or risk management, with a strong background in managing corporate insurance portfolios.
Experience working with regulatory authorities, managing audits, and overseeing compliance programs.
In-depth knowledge of insurance policies, including general liability, professional liability, property insurance, workers' compensation, and more.
Previous experience in negotiating insurance contracts and managing claims processes.
Skills : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Attention to detail, with the ability to spot potential compliance or insurance issues before they arise.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Proficiency in compliance and insurance management software and tools.
preferred Skills : Experience in a specific industry (e. g. , construction, finance, healthcare) that involves complex compliance or insurance requirements.
Knowledge of international compliance regulations and insurance standards.
Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as ISO, GDPR, or SOX.
