Job Description:Valmet is looking for an Expert On-line to join our team in Bologna office on a 1-year temporary contract to receive customer's requests promptly regarding machinery issues, verify and resolve problems remotely.

After a period of training on the job, the role works independently to complete given tasks.

Key responsibilities: Collect customer requests regarding issues to be resolved Provide remote assistance and customer support for resolving issues Supervise, update software and correct working parameters Update online machinery software Foster the development and continuous proposal of services, as well as the transformation of customer requests into performance improvement opportunities Consolidate a proactive service on the installed base machinery To succeed in this role you should have or be: Degree in Automation Engineering or Informatics 1 year of experience as a programmer or software designer Fluent spoken and written English and Italian; Spanish is a big plus Knowledge of Siemens Step 7, Tia Portal, Motion, Sinamics, HMI WinCC, and Data network transmission: Profibus, Profinet Open to travel up to 25% Available for shift work and on-call Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills Goal-oriented and customer-focused Ability to focus on controllable factors Alignment with our values What we offer: Work in a global organization with international customers and colleagues, dynamic and modern work environment Be part of an organization committed to innovation and excellence Onboarding plan Training and extensive learning catalog Work from home Welfare benefits Internal canteen free of charge Additional information: If you are interested in becoming part of the Valmet team in Lucca, please send your application as soon as possible, but no later than November 15.
