Export Finance Professional - Infrastructure & Export Financing - Milan [F/M/D]
Infrastructure & Export Financing provides structured credit and debt advisory solutions across the global commodity, energy, and infrastructure sectors, supporting the European transition to a low-carbon economy through the financing of green and transition projects across a broad range of sectors.
For export financings, we target investments by buyers related to UC clients exporting goods and services abroad, as well as clients sourcing, selling, or processing raw materials and investing in the energy transition.
**What you'll be doing**:
- Act as Deal Captain within Deal Teams in the origination of transactions (e. g. , pitching, negotiation, documentation, and management of the funding process through to financial close) and related internal processes (e. g. , preparation of credit requests and related presentations).
- Proactively identify deal opportunities through customer, market, and industry analysis
- Monitor and analyze market trends and regulatory changes affecting export finance.
- Prepare and present client pitches for general marketing activities as well as specific transactions.
- Conduct comprehensive credit and risk analysis of obligors for buyer's credit as well as project financings with ECA components.
- Develop and maintain ECA relationships based on broad and deep knowledge of ECA products.
- Manage and develop relationships with other relevant departments within UniCredit Group as appropriate for the transactions (Coverage, Industry Teams, Global Syndicate, Risk Management, Legal, Rating Advisory, CRM).
**What you'll need to succeed**:
**Qualifications**:
- University degree in business administration, economics, finance, international trade, or engineering.
**Experience**:
- At least 5 years of relevant working experience in Export Finance.
- Proven working experience and track record in ECA financing, supported by well-established ECA contacts and ECA-backed deal closings, both in terms of quantity and significance.
- Industry knowledge of energy & infrastructure is a plus.
**Skills**:
- Strong and independent communication, presentation, and pitching skills.
- In-depth knowledge of export financing tools, instruments, and risk management.
- Proficient in financial analysis and credit assessment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Fluency in Italian and English
