A renowned Client of ours, a family-owned company who -over decades- has been championing the craftmanshift and taste for exquisite made-in-Italy home textiles, is looking for the Export ManagerMain responsibilitiesThe newcomer will be reporting to the owner of the company and significantly contribute to the shaping and implementation of the commercial strategy, with particular focus on markets in Asia-Pacific, Middle East, and Europe.

She/he will be leveraging on existing as well as new Clients abroad and various sales channels such as Distributors, Department Stores, Retailers.

She/he will be streamlining the actions from within the company toward the best Customer satisfaction.

Candidate profileSound international sales experience with Made in Italy products for the B2C markets (Textile background is a nice to have), paired with proven competency in export-related matters and processes Strong business acumen as well as proactive / entrepreneurial spirit Excellent skills in intercultural communication and negotiation Effectiveness in driving the international agenda of sales, by preparing and managing meetings at various levels, storytelling the company's products, values, and legacy Sound leadership skills and ability to drive and develop the sales team Passion for nurturing long-lasting relationships with Clients and sales network across the borders Understanding of key local competitors, close monitoring of market trends in the Regions Strong team playing attitude, paired with ability to transfer the market/Client's inputs into the internal organization (design, manufacturing, sales, logistics, etc. )

and then shape successful proposals to the Clients Proficiency in Italian, English, and other foreign languages (Chinese is a nice to have).

LocationThe Company is located in the outskirts of Milan, Italy.

The role requires frequent business trips both regionally and intercontinentally.

A remote office/home location in one of the above-mentioned Regions can be evaluated.
