Role SummaryThe Export Sales Manager is responsible for achieving the business goals in the assigned geography outside of Italy.
He/she contributes to developing the product portfolio and go-to-market strategy and is responsible for its implementation.
He/she leads the export sales team (sales support + agents) and coordinates the customer management activities, also being directly involved in managing the key accounts.
He/she ensures excellent operational standards through optimization and disciplined implementation of structured operational processes.
He/she is a member of the Kollant management team and acts with team spirit to contribute to the greater good of Kollant and Adama as a whole. Reporting RelationshipReports directly to: Kollant General ManagerKEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESPlanning and ForecastingDevelop and update, as needed, an aligned business strategy to be summarized by the yearly Work Plan and the 5 years Work Plan (by product, customer, geography)Collaborate with the Portfolio Development Manager to identify and capture the opportunities to strengthen Kollant offering and improve customer value deliveryConstantly align short to mid-term financial and operational plans through monthly cycles of rolling forecast supported by K-For systemOperational ExcellenceOptimize the sales cycle processes (from quotation to order processing, invoicing, and delivery) to ensure customer satisfaction, cost efficiency, and compliance with Adama group policies and proceduresCollaborate with the CFO to ensure transparent business tracking and with the IT manager to support the digitalization of transactional tasksCollaborate with the Marketing manager to draft and implement the communication campaignsCollaborate with the Operation Manager and Supply Manager to ensure alignment and updating of manufacturing plansBusiness Development and Customer ManagementContinuously explore potential opportunities to grow the businessIdentify and profile leadsEnsure excellent customer experience and winning competitive performance by coordinating and supervising all the commercial activities abroadDirectly manage the Key Accounts, taking care of business plans negotiation and implementationDraft and transparently manage the product price list to meet the profitability targets and maintain a competitive positioning in the marketDeploy, lead, manage, and coach the agents' team to ensure adequate footprint, effective commercial activities, and valued customer supportDevelop the agents' technical and commercial skillsLead, manage, and coach the sales support team to provide effective and efficient workload managementAttract and develop talentsManage team members' performance and compensation according to Adama group policiesMinimum RequirementsMaster's Degree (scientific or economic background)Five years experience in commercial roles with international responsibilitiesThree years experience in leading a teamProfessional and/or consumer pest control + plant care industry knowledgeMust be fluent in Italian and English; Spanish and French are nice to haveAdvanced computer literacy in Microsoft applications and business support toolsAbility/willingness to travel according to business needsStrategic and analytical thinkingThought and people leadershipResults orientationTeam spirit and collaborationInterpersonal savviness and customer focus #J-18808-Ljbffr
