For Our Global Communication Department we are looking for a: External Communication Director The External Communication Director will play a pivotal role in shaping and amplifying Kedrion Biopharma's corporate narrative across global audiences.

This leader will craft compelling stories, manage digital communications, strengthen media relations, and ensure robust public relations and crisis communication strategies.

Additionally, the role will encompass driving Kedrion's corporate branding initiatives and supporting the company's sustainability communications to reinforce Kedrion's reputation as a responsible and forward-thinking healthcare leader.

The External Communication Director will lead a dedicated team of communications professionals, providing strategic guidance and fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.

Key Responsibilities Team Leadership • Manage and mentor a team of communication professionals to deliver high-quality work.

• Assign priorities, ensure alignment with corporate objectives, and oversee the team's professional growth.

• Cultivate a collaborative and innovative environment to achieve strategic goals.

Storytelling and Content Creation • Develop and oversee the corporate storytelling strategy to enhance Kedrion's reputation.

• Create impactful content for various platforms, including press releases, thought leadership articles, videos, and speeches.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align messaging with corporate objectives.

Corporate Branding and Sustainability Communications • Drive the development and implementation of Kedrion's corporate branding strategy across all channels.

• Ensure consistent brand representation and messaging in alignment with organizational values.

• Collaborate with sustainability teams to effectively communicate Kedrion's initiatives and achievements in environmental, social, and governance (ESG) areas.

• Create compelling narratives and campaigns to highlight Kedrion's commitment to sustainability and ethical practices.

Digital Communications • Lead the strategy and execution for Kedrion's digital presence, including website content, social media channels, and online campaigns.

• Monitor digital trends and analytics to optimize engagement and reach.

Media Relations and PR • Build and maintain strong relationships with media outlets and journalists.

• Coordinate proactive and reactive media engagements to showcase Kedrion's achievements and manage reputational risks.

• Oversee press materials, interviews, and event support.

Crisis Communications • Develop and maintain a comprehensive crisis communication framework.

• Act as a key spokesperson and advisor during high-stakes situations.

• Ensure timely and effective responses to mitigate potential reputational harm.

Qualifications and Skills • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field.

A Master's degree is a plus.

• 10+ years in external communications, preferably within the healthcare, biopharma, or life sciences industries.

• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage high-profile projects.

Prior experience managing a team is essential.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a talent for crafting engaging narratives.

• Strong expertise in managing corporate brand strategies and ensuring alignment across global teams.

• Familiarity with ESG initiatives and sustainability reporting frameworks is a plus.

• Strong knowledge of digital marketing strategies, tools, and platforms.

• Established network with key media contacts and experience in media training.

• Demonstrated capability in managing complex communications challenges under pressure.
