**We are currently recruiting an External Manufacturing MAKE Manager (M/F) for our Consumer Health organization.

**This role can be based at any of our J&J **manufacturing sites** in EMEA.

We meet the health needs of families across the globe by offering new ways for patients to take the power of their health into their own hands with both over-the-counter and naturally-based health and wellness products.

These include a range of medicated and non-medicated solutions across key categories such as pain relief, smoking cessation, allergy, anti-diarrheal, antacids, nasal decongestants and cough and colds.

In the position of EM MAKE Manager you will be responsible for the management and total supply performance of products supplied to EMEA markets and sourced from External Manufacturers.

In this role, you will partner actively with internal and external business partners to improve the Contract Manufacturers, support the introduction of new products and the deployment of supplier scorecards.

You are also driving the implementation of other improvements projects in the scope of defined Sourcing Strategies.

**Key responsibilities / tasks

**Operations management

- Day-to-day management of supply from external sites in close collaboration with Planning; Source and QA.

- Lead & develop medium and long-term supplier capability and capacity overview

- Lead cross-functional groups and activities to tackle issues to support the operational aspects of product supply on a local and regional

- Manage & develop risk assessment overview for identified External Manufactures and implement preventive actions.

- Implement for key suppliers' SRM (Supplier Relationship Management) methodology.

- Support Supply Chain Performance monitoring and deployment of corrective actions

- Lead periodically business reviews with External Manufacturers in partnership with the other functions involved in the process

**Project management

- Supports or leads any type of projects at EM's

- Coordination of compliance improvement initiatives with External Manufacturers in collaboration with the Q&C team

- Coordinate / lead efficient implementation of new Supply Chain with new External Manufacturing sites or new markets.

**Qualifications** Qualifications

- Exposure to an international and cross-functional environment

- Experience in any of the following areas: Supply Chain, Production, Engineering, Quality, R&D, Project Management, Sourcing or Deliver

- Process Excellence and Continuous improvement experience in Supply Chain and/or manufacturing environment is preferred

- Experience working in the area of OTC products, medical devices, pharmaceuticals or cosmetics is preferred

- Proven leadership / interpersonal skills, communication
