In our Electrification Business Area, in Smart Buildings division located in Santa Palomba, we are looking for a External Production Development Specialist.
Your focus will be on optimizing the manufacturing process through innovation in a cost-effective way.
**Your responsibilities**:
- Oversee the manufacturing processes of the supplier base, at LPG level.
- Lead supplier efficiency evaluation monitoring robustness of external manufacturing setup (i. e.
OEE, equipment effectiveness) and ensuring the compliance of the production processes with targets of safety, cost, on-time delivery and quality.
- Drive improvement projects aimed at increasing the supplier performances, leveraging ABB manufacturing best practices and Lean Six Sigma tools and methodology.
- Drive footprint projects in international environments, assuring team coordination and project targets achievement
- Report to External Production Development Manager and requires a close cooperation with the belonging function (Industrial Engineering) and LPG operation functions.
**Your background**:
- A bachelor degree in Energetic, Mechanic or Automation Engineering
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar position
- Good level of spoken and written English
- Availability to international business trip is required
- Communication skills, proactive approach, strategic thinking, attitude to collaboration and team working skills will complete your profile
