JOB TITLE : FABRICATION METHODS ENGINEER BUSINESS LINE: ABSER (NO DRILLING) DEPARTMENT: PROD. ENG. & METHODS PURPOSE OF THE POSITION : As a Fabrication Methods Engineer, you will join our Department PROD. ENG. & METHODS, in the business line ABSER conducting the following activities: Develop fabrication procedures, study and define operations for structural components integrity in temporary intermediate conditions like lifting and handling of subassemblies or load out, develop and issue calculations and procedure for lifting, weighing, handling, load-out and ballasting and support yard erection activities providing assistance as needed. ACTIVITIES: Design and development of construction sequences, including structural checks of the various elements in the construction, lifting, transport phases; Design and development of lifting procedures (lifting plan) including verification of crane configuration and dimensioning of slings and accessories; Design and verification of lifting accessories for particular uses (e. g. lifting slingbars, connecting rods, eyebolts, etc. ); Design and development of procedures for the launching of artefacts; Drafting of structural calculation reports; Operational technical assistance on site. QUALIFICATION: Civil, Structure or Mechanical Degree KNOWLEDGE OF ENGLISH LANGUAGE: Good knowledge LABOUR RELATIONSHIP: Employment based on experience YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: 3-5 years of experience IT SKILLS: SAP2000, STRAUS7, ANSYS and automatic drawing on CAD (Autocad, etc) SOFT SKILLS: Be flexible and ready to adapt to an environment in constant change; Eager to travel globally and grow professionally within an international and multicultural environment; LOCATION: Position will be based at our Yard in Arbatax and available to frequent travels both national and international.
