Position InformationJob Title: Facility Coordinator - Rome, Italy
Job Description: This full-time position is responsible for oversight of the facilities in Rome, ensuring smooth operations on both the maintenance and administrative sides. Occasional support with other international facilities may be required.
Specific responsibilities include: Doing minor maintenance works and planning/supervising major building maintenance activitiesCreating reports of breakdowns or damages and actively doing the repairs (when possible) or planning themMaintaining building safety to protect occupants and visitorsOverseeing fire prevention and security systemsPlanning and executing emergency proceduresSupervising maintenance, security and cleaning staffPerforming routine building inspections and producing condition reportsPlanning preventive building works and refurbishmentsMaintaining records relating to maintenance and costsOverviewing invoices and monitoring costsSupporting with national and international administrative activitiesOffering occasional support to the events officeAttributes and Skills: Positive attitude and collaborative approach to work;Flexibility, initiative and follow-through on work issues and activities;Strong organizational skills;Ability to juggle multiple roles, often simultaneously;Ability to adapt to change and to work in a dynamic environment;Be computer savvy with a knowledge of Microsoft suites. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor degree or equivalent (not essential but preferable)
Preferred Qualifications: 2 years of experience in facility management or equivalent.
Schedule: Will be agreed with the successful candidate who must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends. 38 hours per week. 6-month position with the possibility of extension.
