APPLICATION CLOSING DATE: December 12th, 2024 Human Technopole (HT) is an interdisciplinary life science research institute, created and supported by the Italian Government, with the aim of developing innovative strategies to improve human health. HT is composed of five Centers: Neurogenomics, Computational Biology, Structural Biology, Genomics, and Health Data Science. The Centers work together to enable interdisciplinary research and to create an open, collaborative environment that will help promote life science research both nationally and internationally. The Human Technopole Foundation is looking for a Facility Management – Mechanical (HVAC) Engineer. The role, part of the Campus Development & Facility Management Team and reporting to the Facility Management Services Manager, is responsible for all operational and administrative tasks with a focus on mechanical and plumbing (HVAC) plants of the Campus, coordinating the maintenance team in line with the contract details, ensuring that quality service is provided in line with the policies, procedures, and legislative requirements, and also assuring design and production of technical documentation according to HT needs for Campus development. Your main tasks and responsibilities: Detailing the Planning of implementation works on mechanical (HVAC) plant and infrastructure following the Campus Maintenance Plan; Overseeing external maintenance providers in many activities to assess their compliance with the tender specifications, such as: main gas and plumbing connections and implementation and periodical maintenance of gas and liquid nitrogen distribution lines; Ticketing system management; Support the line manager on periodical internal audits related to (HVAC) infrastructure; Monitor the plan for HVAC business continuity across Campus critical infrastructures; Collecting data and measurements, project design activity required for the realization of new projects both in terms of extraordinary maintenance and main real estate activities; Supporting construction works execution and commissioning; Implement systems on the field to monitor building and labs' environmental conditions. Mandatory requirements: Technical Diploma; Up to 5 years' experience in a similar role; Proven record of the technical regulations regarding HVAC Systems; CAD software hands-on user; Fluent in Italian; Good knowledge of English. Preferential requirements: Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; Previous experience in public administration/hospital/university or research institute; Previous experience on Fire Fighting systems or regulation; Good BMS systems knowledge; Good knowledge of Italian Public Procurement.
