The Position As a Facilities Manager at Novo Nordisk, you will proactively manage suppliers and contractors to ensure compliance with contract service delivery, health & safety, and budgets.
Additionally, you will: Ensure compliance with legislation, company policies, and oversee safe and effective facility management services.
Act as the main liaison between Novo Nordisk and Facilities Management service providers, ensuring smooth coordination.
Efficiently manage one direct report, responsible for the company car fleet, including orders, deliveries, collections, and cost control.
Provide Health & Safety training, maintain Fire Warden and First Aider lists, and address related issues, including service provider reports.
Implement and monitor Facility Management projects while maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
This role is based at our office in Rome, we offer flexible working hours and a hybrid option, allowing you to work from home when in-office presence isn't required.
Qualifications To succeed in this role, we imagine that you have the following qualifications: Degree-level education or equivalent experience.
Previous experience in Facilities Management, handling customer relationships, and applying performance measurement techniques in a fast-paced environment is a must.
Proven ability to work as part of a project team, with an understanding of project governance.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), with strong communication and organizational abilities, including independent workload management.
Keen eye for accuracy, capable of maintaining high standards under pressure and tight deadlines, with a solid understanding of contract documentation and commercial awareness.
Previous management experience, including car fleet management, is a plus but not required.

About the Department You will be part of the Finance & Operations department, which coordinates, integrates, and administers a range of diverse administrative or staff functions.
You will report directly into the Senior Director of Finance and Operations, joining a fantastic team of 7 individuals.
