About the role

For our new operations in Italy we need an experienced Facility Manager who will have the responsibility to lead the complete Facility organisation.

You are expected to lead the design, planning and execution of the Facility Masterplan, including investments, maintenance and expansion of our site within the financial budgets.

You will lead a small team of Facility specialists (administrative employee and technician).

With this team you ensure the continuation of all buildings/services/utilities.

In addition you will be responsible for Environment, Health and Safety Management.

You will report to and work in close cooperation with the Associate Director Facility Management in the Netherlands.

What you will do

Successfully deliver, organise and follow up on 'hard' FM services (installation maintenance, inspection, certification and multi annual operating plans)) and ? soft?

FM services (cleaning, pest control, snow removal, waste management etc.

).

You will set up and maintain all necessary services:

Lay out of the warehouse and purchase warehouse equipment (high rise racking, pick racking, mezzanine flooring)

Initiate and monitor execution of technical related projects, from specification to commissioning phase (Coordinate adjustments to the building such as sprinkler systems, air treatment installation, lighting, electricity etc.

)

Set up all soft FM services needed (cleaning, security etc.

)

Your Profile

You possess deep facility knowledge with the ability to engage with key (international) stakeholders whilst simultaneously going into operational details and leading the execution of critical Facility actions.

You have a relevant Bachelor's degree (Business, , Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Construction)

At least 3-5years of similar experience in complex and corporate (industrial) environment

Experience in leading and continuously improving Facility services at a strategic, tactical and operational level

knowledge of key business processes like EHS and Facility Maintenance systems

High sense of urgency and commitment to execution

Proven adaptability, comfortable with change and with a demonstrated ability to react and respond to a fast-changing environment

Strong leadership, communication and influencing skills

Proven track record in planning, developing, and delivering complex projects (start-up experience is preferred)

Ensures accountability and takes ownership towards senior stakeholders

Proficient in English and Italian
