ALTEN Italia is looking for a Manager Facilities Design/Logistic Design with at least 5 years of experience, to be involved in Life Science projects.

for our international customer we are looking for a Facilities Design Manager/ Logistic Design Manager, who will join our team and will be based either in Bologna (IT), where we already have our Engineering hubs and workforce.

To lead all design works related to building or refurbishing facilities to ensure that they are optimally operational and will cope with current and future business needs.

You will ensure that the best design and construction practices are applied into future projects aligned with continuous Sustainability performance (green technologies), improved execution costs and lead time.

In collaboration with local affiliate, you will coordinate the project team and design company(ies) for developing the necessary work for an optimal facility lay-out, master planning, design and construction.

Moreover to lead all design works related to overall Logistics integration, technologies and equipment when building or refurbishing facilities in order to ensure that they are optimally operational and will cope with current and future business needs.

You will ensure that the best Logistics design and solutions are applied into future projects aligned with continuous Sustainability performance (green technologies), improved execution costs and lead time.

In collaboration with Manufacturing Systems & Concepts and local affiliate, you will coordinate all analysis and studies needed for developing the best technical solution(s) for optimal facility Logistics flows with "lights off" approach.

Requisiti

Ideally with 5+ years of work experience in an Engineering / Architecture office related to designing and building facilities and/or ideally with 5+ years of work experience in Logistics / Supply Chain disciplines, preferably in the fields of scouting / developing new technologies and Logistics flows and sizing.

Bachelor's degree in engineering / architectural disciplines.

Master's degree on those disciplines is highly desirable.

Superior project management skills and knowledge, ideally through official certifications and hands-on experience.

Hands on in managing projects of all sizes and dimensions from conceptual phase up to final execution and benefits realization è End to end scope.

Teamwork, superior empathy and communication skills, intercultural competence, drive for results, problem solving, analytical thinking and standing alone are the most important soft skills.

Able to establish win-win and long-term relationships with suppliers and business partners.

Capacity to deal with ambiguity, complexity, and uncertainty.

Fluent level of English in both oral and written.
