The Facility Specialist is responsible for maintaining and improving the physical environment of the company's facilities.

This role involves managing day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, coordinating maintenance and repairs and supporting facility-related projects.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Oversee routine maintenance tasks and ensure that the building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc. )

are functioning optimally.

- Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance and repair work.

- Program and coordinate regular inspections to identify and resolve issues promptly.

- Implement and maintain efficient building operations and energy-saving initiatives.

- Monitor and manage the facility's budget, including tracking expenditures and finding cost-saving opportunities.

- Maintain accurate records of facility operations, including maintenance logs and inspection reports.

- Assist in planning and executing facility-related projects, such as renovations or new construction, suppliers coordination and technical specifications development

- Coordinate project timelines and communicate progress to stakeholders.

- Technical support in purchasing activities like sourcing and negotiation of suppliers

- Manage vendor contracts and ensure quality service delivery.

- Evaluate vendor performance and make recommendations for improvements.

- Handle facility-related requests from employees, ensuring timely resolution.

**Main qualification**:

- Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or Tech diploma or related field.

- At least 3-5 years of experience in facilities management within manufacturing, maintenance or construction industries.

- Proven experience managing maintenance and building operations.

- Strong understanding of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.

).

- Knowledge of D. Lgs n. 81/08 Health & Safety (Testo unico sulla sicurezza).

- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Proficient in using facilities management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

- Strong working experience with Autocad.

- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

- Good knowledge of English.
