**Position Summary

In this role you will be responsible for the provision of physical logistics activities in the site, driving continuous improvement in safety, cost and performance.

You will have direct and indirect reports and you will report to the Factory Manager.

**A day in the life of Factory Logistics Manager

- Safety:

- Ensure full implementation of all Guidelines and Standards related to Logistics

- Integrate measures (practice/result) within regular meeting structure to monitor and improve safety related to Logistics on site (eg racking, MHE, loading procedures, etc. . . )

- Budget/Costing:

- Ensure the correct construction, control and delivery of the budget for the Logistics activities

- Ensure relevant measures are defined, monitored and achieved to deliver the agreed budget

- Lead Budget review with the Center as scheduled highlighting potential areas of concern with mitigating actions

- Warehouse:

- Management of Factory warehouse storage locations and outside storage dedicated to the factory (i. e.

raw/pack, export warehouse, etc ) for all product types and the transport shuttles between the locations

- Operations:

- Establish a continuous improvement approach to drive cost saving initiatives to improve performance and cost of the warehouse operations through the establishment, monitoring and execution of relevant KPIs.

- Ensure accurate inventory at all times through best practice processes in cycle counts, receipt and despatch In collaboration with Quality and Production to ensure the process to quickly deal with blocked products limiting the risk of products moving to Bad goods and/or salvage status and occupying warehouse space unnecessarily

- Transport:

- In close collaboration with planning team you will maximise load fill and on time loading

- Establish, monitor and execute relevant Transport KPIs to drive cost saving and service improvement

- Responsible for training, coaching and assessing people within own Unit on LEAN Initiatives

- Responsible for the establishment of LEAN Initiatives Unit Pillar

**What will make you successful

- At least 8 years experience in the following areas:

- Warehouse, Management, Transportation operations, Cost control, Logistic

- People Management experience and skills

- Solid negotiation skills

- Experiences in managing continuous improvement projects e. g.

LER: Logistics Excellence Review

- Sufficient understanding and practice in the following areas: CAPEX Strategic Planning

- Good skills and experiences in influencing others

- Good training/coaching skills

- Fluent in English and Italian
