Fcin Technical Auditor
Job Advert Description This is an outstanding opportunity to join North Wales Police as a Technical Auditor.
Location: The role will involve frequent travel to network bases across England and Wales and the FCIN NTC, within the working week.
Hours: To be discussed at interview The main purpose of this role is to engage at functional level with forces, auditing member forces' bases attainment against accreditation to ISO 17020 and 17025, the FSR's Code of Practice and other accreditation requirements.
As part of the FCIN team, you will be responsible for developing and strengthening the network; provide support to the FCIN Service Improvement Coordinator.
You will also be undertaking technical and non-technical audits and identify and record areas of compliance with accreditation requirements.
In addition, seek to identify areas of improvement and areas where compliance to the relevant accreditation standard has not been met and record this in audit reports which will be provided to Forces.
What will I need to be considered for the role?
Demonstrate a detailed technical knowledge of the practical application of forensic collision activities or an equivalent forensic science.
Hold or be prepared to attain a formal audit qualification.
Demonstrable experience of negotiating and communicating at a functional and senior level.
Industry experience of both technical and end to end auditing.
Previous experience in quality service management and continuous improvement.
Experience of external audits e. g.
UKAS auditing.
