Our client is a large player within Europe's communications installation sector since 1998, with branches reaching out across Europe and the Middle East.

They have many years of experience providing Telecommunications Installations Services within the Data Centre, Transportation, Utility Providers, Civil and Construction Sectors. Our client is looking for a Fibre To The Home Technician to come join their expanding team based in Ireland and Europe. Role is based in Milan, Italy, but you may be needed to travel abroad at times to Europe.

You must be an EU citizen and allowed to travel and work freely within Europe.

The Ideal Candidate:Experience in installation of fibre optic cablesExperience in installation of Copper Cable (Cat 5e / Cat 6 / Cat 6A)Termination and testing of fibre optic cablingTermination and testing of copper cablesAbility to follow design drawings and schematicsMust be able to work effectively on your own and as part of a teamMust have a focus on Health & SafetyExcellent communication skillsUse hand and power tools competently and safelyDuties & Responsibilities:Installing and dressing Cat 5e / Cat 6 / Cat 6A (Copper Cable)Installing and dressing fibre cablesInstall CabinetsInstall RacksTerminate and test Cat 5e / Cat 6 / Cat 6A (Copper Cable)Terminate and test Fibre Optic CablePatching Fibre cablesLabellingAbility to follow design drawings and schematicsQualifications (but not Essential):Full Driving License (not essential)Working at Heights (Will be provided in-house)IPAF (Will be provided)Manual Handling (Will be provided in-house)Willingness to Travel: The candidate must be open and available for frequent travel, possibly on short notice.
