The _Field Automation Application Specialist _for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible _for _providing excellent customer service to clients while installing and maintaining diagnostic instrumentation and systems in hospital and stand-alone laboratory environments.

This position is part of the _Customer Care Organization _located in _Milan _and will be fully remote.

**In this role, you will have the opportunity to**:

- Solutions setup: Install and setup Laboratory Automation systems based on customer needs and contract specification, teamworking with LIS and Middleware Team

- End user Training: deploy onsite user training to teach the customer on the product portfolio under his responsibility.

Run training on the job in the startup phase of the project.

- Remote support: Troubleshoot customer issue and looking for solution following internal standard works.

He/She activate a second level support if needed.

- Support our field team (FSE, FAS) to maintain, install, validate laboratory systems in the field.

You advise the team in more relevant and critical technical issues ensuring strong customer satisfaction, retention rate and warranty conversion

- Utilize critical thinking to resolve appropriate action to rapidly repair instrumentation

- Ensure the growth of the Field Service Engineers "Technical Know-How" managing the flow of the technical information between the European and BU to the local team

- Collaborate actively with Sales/Application/Tender Department in order to improve Customer solutions and routine

- Develop your project management skills in the context of installation projects

**The essential requirements of the job include**:

- Degree (preferably technical, biomedical, instrumentation, electrical engineering or related) or at least 2 to 3 years equivalent demonstrated experience.

- Willing to work different shifts/flexible hours as business needs and ability to travel for at least 80% providing service in whole country as well as periodic travel to other European countries and overnight travel.

- Fluent in Italian and English, verbal and written enough to attend and provide trainings and participate in discussion forums and international meetings.

- Strong leaderships skills and interpersonal relationship.

**It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in**:

- Problem solving and aptitude to proactively identify solutions.

- Good IT knowledge.

Familiar with IT topics: enjoy setting up and managing networks, servers, firewalls, interfaces.

- Develop critical mindset supported by DBS tools.
