Field Equipment Assistance & Services Technician
We are currently looking for a Field Equipment Assistance & Services Technician to join our Procurement & Logistics Department at our Headquarters in Parma.
The resource will define and guarantee the proper implementation of the asset management strategies and guidelines regarding the maintenance of the company's fleet worldwide and will also provide daily technical support to the project organizations for the captioned service.
Responsibilities: Define, execute, and monitor the major overhaul campaigns upon equipment release from the projects, guaranteeing the timely and cost-effective execution of all related activities.
Verify the proper implementation of the defined maintenance plan on the equipment assigned to a specific project.
Coordinate and provide technical support and assistance to the project and country workshops, setting the related guidelines and verifying their operations.
Support the countries and the projects in defining the organization chart and the infrastructural requirements of the country and project workshops, providing immediate feedback to the Head of Equipment (HEQ) in case of issues.
Define the maintenance plan for every equipment in the fleet and ensure proper implementation.
Support the Head of Equipment Engineering and R&D (HQE) in the development of alternative or improved technical solutions aimed at optimizing costs, increasing safety, and fostering operational performance of the company's equipment.
Define and monitor the KPIs regarding the job scope, implementing necessary actions to timely correct or improve the company's performance.
Define and continuously monitor the budget for the service.
Assist the relevant units in guarantees and in the relationship with suppliers concerning the purchased vehicles.
Analyze and purchase spare parts for vehicles.
Requirements: Laurea Magistrale and/or Specialistica or Technical Diploma.
A minimum of 4-5 years in the role.
Consolidated knowledge of asset management and good competence in project management techniques (i. e. , project planning and control, reporting, contract management, etc. ).
Optimal communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills, planning and organizing ability, critical thinking and problem-solving skills, leadership qualities, and efficient team management skills, adaptability, and stress tolerance.
Fluent in English and in a second language (Spanish/French).
Available to travel abroad.
