We are a fast-growing, dynamic team pushing the boundaries of ultrafast laser applications. The RoleWe are looking for a Field Innovation Manager, a unique hybrid role that combines technical expertise in laser micromachining with the ability to identify and drive the adoption of our technology in key industries.

This person will play a crucial role in both hands-on laser process development and strategic technology positioning, ensuring that our laser finds its most impactful applications. This role will work closely with the management team and the technical department, contributing to both application development and technology adoption strategies.

Additionally, they will provide guidance to the team while actively participating in lab experiments and engaging with external partners. Key ResponsibilitiesLaser Application Development & TestingConduct hands-on experiments with our GHz-burst femtosecond laser for micromachining applications. Analyze the interaction between laser and various materials to determine the most promising use cases. Collaborate with the CTO and R&D team to enhance process capabilities and refine application strategies. Guide and support the current Application Engineer in experimental work and process development. Technology Adoption & Market PositioningContribute in the identification of industries and applications where our laser technology can bring a competitive advantage. Engage with research institutions, innovation hubs, and industrial partners to validate and promote our solutions. Support potential customers in understanding and integrating our laser technology into their workflows. Represent Lithium Lasers at technical conferences, trade shows, and industry events to showcase our innovations. Develop application-focused case studies and proof-of-concept demonstrations to accelerate adoption. What We're Looking For Technical SkillsDegree in Physics, Engineering (Optics, Photonics, Mechanical, Materials) or related field. Strong hands-on experience in ultrafast laser micromachining and laser-material interaction. Knowledge of ultrashort pulse lasers, optics, and precision processing. Ability to work in a lab environment, conducting experiments and analyzing results.

Technology & Market Strategy SkillsPassion for identifying and accelerating the adoption of new technologies. Ability to translate technical capabilities into real-world industrial applications. Strong communication and networking skills to interact with researchers, engineers, and industry leaders. Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.
