You and your car are inseparable, and you travel the length and breadth of Italy to close the best deals.
You maintain relationships, expand your portfolio, and find the best logístical solutions for our clients.
You're not afraid of meeting targets at Europe's largest transport company, because you see those targets as an invitation to excel.
A standard job?
We don't have those at Samskip.
You work with a portfolio of around 4 million Euro in annual sales - and it's up to you to expand that portfolio as much as possible.
Between making jokes with your funny and committed colleagues, you seek out potential clients and note them as leads in our CRM.
You write quotations, explain them to clients, and - needless to say - arrange their implementation as soon as the client accepts your proposal.
Of course, you know better than anyone that maintaining relationships with our existing clients is just as important.
That's why you always keep them up to date about new developments in Samskip's services.
At Samskip, you're given a huge amount of freedom to arrange your workload as efficiently as possible.
This means it's up to you where and when you reach your targets.
Your role also involves:
- Working within the agreed budgets;
- Visiting clients;
- Maintaining balanced accounts for your activities;
- Resolving any complaints.

This means your work reaches much further than Italy alone, because your deals span the globe.

You'll work in Cernusco-Sul-Naviglio, although you'll soon find you're on the road a lot and that you only spend around half your time in the office.
Samskip has broad coverage across Italy, which means your workplace will be different every day.
Our offices can be reached very easily from Milan and Bergamo because we're almost right next to the A51 and A58.
You'll join a small and personal team, where collaboration and sales pleasure are key.
Together with the team, you will hunt for new business, and celebrate successes to the full.
Your work involves a great deal of independence, although you support one another during implementation.
In this way, you help bring one another's strong points to the fore, and achieve the best possible result together.

- 1-3 years' experience in the role of account manager in a forwarding environment;

- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office;
- The willingness to travel within Italy for your job;
- Excellent command of written and spoken Italian and English.
