Field Sales Representative (f/m/d) - Center-South Italy/Sicily - Structural Heart - Home Office - 223901

**About the Role**:We are looking for a Field Sales Representative (f/m/d) to join our Structural Heart team, in the center or south of Italy.

In this position you will acquire new customers as well as maximize profitable sales within existing customers accounts.

Importantly you will deal with and manage local agents, providing product training and technical support plus tracking sales outcomes and ensuring their ongoing performance and success.

You will also coordinate and implement local sales promotion activities.

You are expected to analyze and understand the market to successfully plan objectives, strategies and actions according to the business unit guidelines, thus expressing your talent as a Field Sales Representative.

This is a remote position, and you can work from your home office in most locations within the center or the south of Italy, ideally in Rome or Naples metropolitan area.

**Responsibilities**:

- Full ownership for maximizing sales and ensuring market penetration with the existing business

- Actively pursuing new customers and developing new opportunities

- Maintain and build strong relationships across our customer base

- Manage, support, and coordinate your indirect sales force (Agents & Distributors)

- Gain recognition as a go-to person at Gore and as a product expert

- Provide clinical product education and training, as well as regular involvement in case planning and case support in the cath lab

- New product introduction and driving local marketing initiative

**Required Qualifications**:

- Experienced in medical device sales, preferably with a medical engineering or clinical background

- Ideally degree educated in a science, technical or clinical discipline

- Possess extensive commercial skills; proactive, self-motivated and well organized

- Flexible work ethic, reacting to customer requirements, specifically regarding case management

- A team-player, naturally interacting with other associates across Europe on a regular basis

- The role requires a willingness to undertake extensive travel within Italy, also internationally, to sales meetings, congresses and for training.

Easy access to an international airport within the territory is therefore essential

- Fluent Italian and strong knowledge of written and spoken English is required

**Desired Qualifications**:

- MBA, or Biomedical Sciences studies will be highly considered

- A previous experience in selling medical devices for the treatment of patent foramen ovale and atrial defects in hemodynamics will be highly valued
